Welcome to Art!
The Skinner North art program is based in the Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB) approach. It is a learner-directed approach that meets the needs of all learners through choice, agency, flexibility, and emergent curriculum.
What do artists do? The child is the artist. The classroom is the child's studio.
Students use the Studio Habits of Mind; develop craft, engage & persist, envision, express, observe, reflect, stretch & explore, and understand art worlds,
to learn what artists do and to grow as artists.
